The beauty of Camp Lake is reason enough to stop by. For the duration of the summer months here at Camp Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Camp Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. | | is available along the Bull Moose Trail. Just can't get enough of the Sawtooth Range. Camp Lake sits in the shade of the Sawtooth Range, and camping at Camp Lake is good fun, Powerplant Campground is a good local campground.

skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is great. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River, and there's nice hiking along the Yellow Belly Trail.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Camp Lake;
Yuba River Trail is a good local trail, and from Camp Lake you obtain a fine vista of Glens Peak. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Ardeth Lake; sites like Tenlake Basin are wonderful
to pop by. Camp Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawtooth Range.
The yearly rain here at Camp Lake is about average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; July on the other hand is the driest.
