When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 30's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Buster Lake temperatures fall to the-10's. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more amusing things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Mill Creek Campground is a       tremendous place to camp, and Spruce Gulch is also a fine place to explore. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. Get covered with water paddling on Salmon River - Yankee Fork, and after a long day outdoors Wildflower by ResortQuest is a nice spot to spend a night or two. There are other places here than Buster Lake, for example Little Bayhorse Lake, and camping is available at Bayhorse                  Campground. You completely must have a thing about Buster Lake. Not far from Buster Lake, you'll find Bayhorse Lake which is a lovely lake, and the scenery at Buster Lake Dam is pretty. Buster Lake gets very little rain; all through December this area sees the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful.
