Throughout the days of summer highs here at Bussard Lake get into the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Bussard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bussard Creek flows through this area, and do take a hike on the Rutledge Creek Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western       Kootenai River Inn & Casino, and do have a look at Sinclair Lake, it's a beautiful lake. You can run the rapids of Moyie River near Bussard Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sidehill Trail. Bussard Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Robinson Lake Campground is a great place to camp nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bussard Lake has to offer, you can camp at Copper Creek Campground. And if that's not                  enough, there's loads more to do close to Bussard Lake. Queen Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Kootenai.
