For the duration of the warm months at Bussard Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Bussard Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Don't leave       Bussard Lake without first going for a hike along the Queen Mountain Trail; if you need a place to stay Best Western Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa is a tremendous choice. At Bussard Lake you don’t see much rainfall; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is usually the driest month. If you're here at Bussard Lake, you could pop by Bussard Creek. Lakes are good; Queen Lake is a lake that's right next door to Bussard                  Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Rutledge Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is good on Moyie River. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Bussard Lake. There's brilliant hiking along the Sidehill Trail; Bussard Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Robinson Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground. Paddling on Kootenai is so much fun; camping at Copper Creek Campground is always a great experience.
