Bussard Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Bussard Lake get into the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Bussard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bussard Creek flows through this area, and do take a hike on the Rutledge Creek Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western

You can run the rapids of Moyie River near Bussard Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sidehill Trail. Bussard Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Robinson Lake Campground is a great place to camp nearby. a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Bussard Lake is a location that is relatively waterless generally; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
