The beauty of Burnt Lake is reason enough to stop by. A short tour to Eds Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Buck Pasture since you're here at Burnt Lake, and Burnt Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Wild Horse Crossing Campground is a wonderful local campground. | | through the winter are normally in the 30's while Burnt Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Burnt Lake is pretty arid typically; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. A wonderful site to take a look at right next door to Burnt Lake is Strickland Canyon; if you need a place to stay Hillside Motor Inn is a great choice. Get covered with water paddling on Marys Creek, and hiking along the Damon Trail is glorious fun.
