There's so much to do here at Burnt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wild Horse Crossing Campground is a splendid spot for that. It's always perfect to stop at Eds Spring, and you can run the rapids of Marys Creek. Having a great time at Burnt Lake is trouble-free. Around Burnt Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout May; July meanwhile is       the driest month. Through the summertime months here at Burnt Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 30's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Burnt Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Burnt Lake is not the only spot close by, Bull Creek Reservoir is a close by lake, and if you're here, you might as well stop by Strickland                  Canyon.
