     River Park Golf Course is a tremendous campground nearby, and a tour to Craters Of The Moon National Monument is worthwhile. Burnt Creek Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lost River Range. Not much precipitation falls here at Burnt Creek Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
Interesting geology is available here; Rock Of Ages is in close proximity to Burnt Creek Lake, and you'll come across a delightful
 
   lake called Swauger Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Do pop by Dry Creek Reservoir near Burnt Creek Lake, it's a pretty lake, and don't forget to take a great little spree to East Fork Burnt Creek. High temperatures at Burnt Creek Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Burnt Creek Lake.

               Lost River Range, just phenomenal. Wagon wheel Motel and RV Park is a glorious local campground, and the Snowbank Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Burnt Creek Lake is so good!.

I'm trying to find out some info from someone who has done the loop or semi loop, what I'm doing, wondering what the creek crossings are going to be like. I'm going about as early as you should in mid June so I'm wondering what its going to be like. doesn't matter cause I'm going anyway but just wanna be prepared. I've got years of pack experience so weather isn't a factor. As long as I can drive to the trail head fine and the trail isn't covered too much in snow....
