Burnside Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Payette Campground is a wonderful local campground; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Fall Creek Trail. It is very dehydrated here at Burnside Lake usually; May is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll beyond doubt wish for       more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Salmon River Mountains. If you came to camp Black Lee Campground is a pleasant place to do that, and Lick Creek Summit is a great spot to stop at. Going for a hike along the Crestline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you need a spot to stay Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a pleasant choice. For the duration of the summertime here at Burnside Lake, high temperatures usually                  reach the 90's, and the night is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 50's.
