Beautiful Burnside Lake has much to offer visitors. Camping at Upper Payette Campground is always a good experience, and Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a nice location to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Near Burnside Lake you stumble on Lick Creek Summit which is a pleasant place to go to; Burnside Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Black Lee Campground is a good local campground. That right there is loads of entertaining

| | stuff already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. Lakes? Sure, Marge Lake is close at hand, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Crestline Trail.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Salmon River Mountains. The top of Beaverdam Peak is easily observed from Burnside Lake, and do take a hike on the Fall Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the summer here at Burnside | |

Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Burnside Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
Not much rain falls here at Burnside Lake; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors AmericInn McCall is a great spot to
spend a night or two, and Burnside Lake is right by the Box Lake Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
There are other locations here than Burnside Lake, for example Box Lake, and whitewater paddling is great on Payette River - North Fork.
