Glide down the rapids of Bear River in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Burchett Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brigham Young Lodge and Trailer is a brilliant spot for that. Blackfoot Reservoir is a good lake near Burchett Lake, and if you need a place to stay Riverside Hot Springs Inn is a good choice. Burchett Lake is pretty dried up regularly; of all the       months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Whitelock's Marina and RV Park, and at Burchett Lake you can see China Cap. Get soaked paddling on Blackfoot River; there's always China Cap Dam to go to close to Burchett Lake. All through the warm months at Burchett Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
