Cascade Creek is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at; close by you come across the West Boundary Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Robinson Creek, and there are glorious spots to discover along the Bechler River Trail. Summertime highs at Buffalo Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime       lows plunge down to the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows through the winter for Buffalo Lake tend to be in the 0's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Camping at Buffalo Lake is delightful fun, Cave Falls Campground is a delightful local campground; Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park is a tremendous campground here. Not much rain falls here at Buffalo Lake; of all the months in a year June is the                  one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Falls River, and Gray Wolf Inn & Suites is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
