Buckhorn Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Why not camp at Kennally Creek Campground since you're here at Buckhorn Lake, and if you get bored of Buckhorn Lake you could also explore nearby Kennally Lakes. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling near Buckhorn Lake is Secesh River; after a long day outdoors Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a tremendous

| | site to spend a night or two. Buckhorn Lake is a good location of common rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. Any time is a tremendous time at Buckhorn Lake if you like the outdoors. You can run the rapids of Salmon River - South Fork right next door to Buckhorn Lake, and hiking along the South Fork Buckhorn Trail is nice fun.
