...ent visitors know it's easier to find a fresh line than a lift line at Brundage on a weekday. With an average of 325 inches of annual snowfall, the powder days are plentiful. Clear skies reveal sweeping views of Payette Lake & McCall off one crest, and endless mountain scenery reaching all the way to Oregon's Blue Mountains off the opposite side. The only challenge is deciding how long to savor the natural beauty before plunging back in for more terrific turns. Fortunately, with 1,800 vertical feet and more than 1,500 acres of in-bound terrain, there's plenty of time to enjoy both the snow and the spectacular scenery.
Weekends and holidays are lively at Brundage Mountain. Visitors frequently enjoy live entertainment in ''Smoky's Pub'', our adults-only space which features weekly apres-ski entertainment and a big screen TV.
Families will enjoy the convenient location of the drive up Kids Center, which offers a wide selection of lesson options for all age groups and skill levels, in addition to licensed day care programs for those too little to tackle the slopes.

Moderate uphill hike..couple of miles from road; classic rock wall mountain behind lake; nice place to backpack into..day trip or camp overnite; some wild life; hiked in here in summer and early spring when 1 - 2' of snow on ground (and melt was rushing down mountain side beneath snow...flowers growing in ground beneath crystal clear runoff (beneath snow...quite a site).Didn't catch any fish during August trips. Last time I was in there was the 1970's....
