     That right there is plenty of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Buck Lake has to offer, you can camp at Yellowjacket Campground, and there's great hiking along the Waterfall Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Fork Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Doe Lake. So many exciting things to do  
   at Buck Lake, so little time. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Camas Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Buck Lake; Ship Island Trail is a perfect local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Panther Creek for all you adrenaline people; the sight of beautiful Puddin Mountain is good. Through the summertime at Buck Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are
 
               regularly in the 20's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Buck Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
It is very dried out here at Buck Lake regularly; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. Not far from Buck Lake, you'll hit upon Fawn Lake which is a picturesque lake. There's so much to do here at Buck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crags Campground is a fine location for that. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Salmon River Mountains.
