Do stop by Buck Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Whitetail Club and Resort. Going for a hike on the Lava Butte Trail is always a perfect adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, Hard Creek offers some splendid whitewater. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Buck Lake has it all. Go for a hike on the Crestline Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's

| | for you then, we recommend Hazard Creek. All year is a wonderful time in the Salmon River Mountains if you love the outdoors. There are great sites to look at along the Broken Leg Trail; if you need a site to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a tremendous choice. Summertime highs at Buck Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Buck Lake throughout | |

Campground is a great site to do that, and Eden Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Buck Lake, you could also have a look at close by Hard Butte Lake; there's some flowing water
nearby, Hyatt Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. Around Buck Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. Hazard Falls is a pleasant local attraction, and camping at State Campground Recreation Site is always a wonderful experience.
