Buck Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. Getting to Hyatt Creek from Buck Lake is painless; a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Hard Creek. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Buck Lake you can take a hike along the Crestline Trail. It is very dried up here at Buck Lake regularly; the month with most of the rain
is May while July is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Hazard Campground; after a long day outdoors Whitetail Club and Resort is a great location to spend a night or two.
So many exciting
things in the Salmon River Mountains, just amazing. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Buck Lake has to offer, you can camp at State Campground Recreation Site. Lakes? Sure, Eden Lake is nearby.
