    If you are in Valley county it's always a good idea to stop by Brush Lake. All year is a brilliant time in the Salmon River Mountains if you love the outdoors. North Beach is a beach next to Brush Lake that you can explore, and Brush Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Payette Campground is a tremendous local campground. During the summer months at Brush Lake highs are commonly in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's  
   typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Brush Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. Have a great hiking adventure along the Crestline Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Payette River - North Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. Western Mountain Lodge is a tremendous location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Brush Lake that you
 
               need to camp here for a while, Black Lee Campground is a splendid location for that. So much cool stuff in the vicinity of Brush Lake, truly remarkable. North Fork Pearl Creek is in the vicinity of Brush Lake and is always a diversion to stop at, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Fall Creek Trail. So much fun stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too delightful to be true. A lake close by is Box Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Box Lake Trail.
Brush Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. The vista of delightful Beaverdam Peak near Brush Lake is good, and Box Lake Dam has delightful water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a good spot to spend a night or two.
Not much rainfall falls here at Brush Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
