What a nice lake Brush Lake is. Through the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Brush Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Brush Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Brush Lake Campground, and Deer Park is a glorious place here at Brush Lake.

| | good adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, Kootenai offers some great whitewater. So much cool stuff to do here at Brush Lake, too glorious to be true. Go for a hike on the Hellroaring Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Moyie River, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a brilliant location to spend a night or two.

There are splendid places to look at along the Danquist Trail. There's so much to do here at Brush Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Smith Lake Campground is a glorious place for that. At Brush Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest.
