If you are traveling by, why not stop by Brundage Reservoir. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. High temperatures at Brundage Reservoir during the summertime months are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Brundage Reservoir are in the 20's. Brundage Creek is near Brundage Reservoir and is always a bliss to stop by.

This lake is so wonderful. Grouse Campground is a great local campground, and

Chance Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Around Brundage Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain; July on the other hand is the driest.
You truly must like the Salmon River
Mountains. A great close by hotel is AmericInn McCall; a day at Sylvan Beach is time well spent. Going for a hike along the Fall Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; Brundage Mountain is charming and can be distinguished from here.
