After a long day outdoors AmericInn McCall is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and needless to say, this is a tremendous neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Duck Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Brundage Reservoir, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's       to Brundage Reservoir. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. There is a fine hiking trail close to Brundage Reservoir called the Box Lake Trail, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Goose Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Grouse Campground is always a tremendous experience, and going for a hike on the Fall Creek                  Trail is always a fine adventure. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains is so good! Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mccall-The Hunt Lodge, Id is a good spot to get some rest, and why not stop at close by Brundage Creek if you're here at Brundage Reservoir. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Brundage Reservoir has it all. And that's not all you can do here at Brundage Reservoir. A glorious beach close to Brundage Reservoir is Sylvan Beach; do pop by Brundage Dam since you're here. Soar down the rapids of Payette River - North Fork in a kayak, and the Crestline Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. The panorama of Brundage Mountain from Brundage Reservoir is picturesque, and a magnificent location to camp here at Brundage Reservoir is Last Chance Campground. Brundage Reservoir is pretty dehydrated commonly; through May this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest.
