This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a wonderful place to get some rest, and you can take a little journey to Brownlee Dam if you're here at Brownlee Reservoir. Throughout the summertime at Brownlee Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for       Brownlee Reservoir. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains, not enough time. A brilliant place close to Brownlee Reservoir is Board Gulch, and you can stay the night at Copperfield Campground. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You can run the rapids of Wildhorse River near Brownlee Reservoir, and of course Dukes Creek flows through this vicinity. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Brownlee                  Reservoir. Brownlee Reservoir is a splendid place to camp, McCornick Campground is a splendid place. Brownlee Reservoir gets very little rainfall; most of the snow falls through December, and the driest month of the year is July.
