Beehive Creek is a magnificent site to stop at; the peak of Bottleneck Peak can be observed from Brooks Lake. There's so much to do here at Brooks Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Creek Campground is a delightful spot for that, and if you need a spot to stay Schweitzer       Mountain Resort is a great choice. There are fine places to explore along the White Mountain Trail; Smith Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are fine; Corner Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Brooks Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Brooks Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dirt Oven Campground. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the summer months, highs generally                  are in the 80's at Brooks Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Brooks Lake are in the 10's. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Skiing at Schweitzer is one of those things you just ought to do, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Pack River.
