There are some great whitewater spots on Deep Creek; you'll locate a wonderful lake called       North Lambert Reservoir. You don’t have to go far from Brace Reservoir to see the water at Brace Dam; a wonderful lake like Porcupine Reservoir is a brilliant location to visit. Not much precipitation falls here at Brace Reservoir; through November this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Near Brace Reservoir you come across the Grasshopper Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is                  not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Owyhee River - East Fork. For the duration of the warm months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Brace Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's.
