Throughout the long summer days at Bowknot Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Bowknot Lake. The Sawtooth Range scenery is always beautiful. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bowknot Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Yuba River Trail.                  Having a nice time in the Sawtooth Range is easy. A nice spot to camp here at Bowknot Lake is Alturas Inlet Campground, and you'll come across a scenic lake called Alice Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
