If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Boulder Lake. Don't leave Boulder Lake without first checking out Chinese Wall, and a great place to go to close by is The Gunsight. Boulder Lake is a location that is rather dried up mostly; December is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture. You'll need more than       a day to discover everything Boulder Lake has to offer, you can camp at Holman Creek Campground, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Gentian Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. At Boulder Lake you can distinguish Lee Peak; a journey to The Kettles revives the soul. All through the summertime highs here at Boulder Lake reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. High temperatures                  through the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Boulder Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There are some fine whitewater spots on Salmon River; as expected Bighorn Creek flows through this area. Stay the night at Marshall Creek Campground, and if you've had enough of Boulder Lake, Snow Lake is close by.
