Why not take a refreshing hike along the Yellow Belly Trail, and why not camp at Marshall Creek Campground if you're here at Boulder Chain Lakes. Paddling on Salmon River is so much fun; do stop at Lodgepole Lake, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Sliderock Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. The summit of Merriam Peak can be spotted from Boulder Chain Lakes, and a brilliant place to camp here at Boulder Chain Lakes is Holman Creek Campground.

is tremendous at Sun Valley, and drift down the rapids of Salmon River - Yankee Fork in a kayak. Not much rain falls here at Boulder Chain Lakes; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
