Glide down the rapids of Salmon River - Yankee Fork in a kayak, and camping at Born Lakes is great fun, Marshall Creek Campground is a great local campground. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. The skiing at Sun Valley is great, and if you've had enough of Born Lakes, Boulder Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Born Lakes is a brilliant site to camp, Holman Creek       Campground is a brilliant site, and a trip to Ants Basin rejuvenates the soul. Going for a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and you might also want to pay a visit to Windy Devil while you're here at Born Lakes. Get wet paddling on Salmon River; Patterson Peak is a good site to pop by while in the area. If you need a site to stay Clarion Inn Ketchum is a splendid choice. Around Born Lakes you don’t                  get a lot of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Born Lakes. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's.
