In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kootenai,       and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Gable Creek Trail. Herman Lake is a good lake right next door to Bonner Lake, and hiking along the Leonia Trail is pleasant fun. Summertime highs at Bonner Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Bonner Lake during the wintertime usually sink into the 20's. Bonner                  Lake is a location that is quite arid mostly; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
