Not much rainfall falls here at Bonanza Lake; during May this area sees the most rain; the driest month is July. Janies Nipples is a peak you can see from Bonanza Lake, and the great people of Pocatello like to hang out nearby. Summer at Bonanza Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's; night lows during       the winter for Bonanza Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Massacre Rocks State Park is always a good experience.
