If you come at the right time of year, Payette River offers some great whitewater; everyone close by loves skiing at Bogus Basin. All through the days of summer here at Boise Cascade Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's | |

with temperatures at Boise Cascade Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Crane Creek flows through this vicinity; not far from Boise Cascade Lake you'll hit upon Lake Elmore which is a striking
lake.
There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Grimes Creek, and Boise Cascade Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Americana Kampground is a wonderful local campground. Boise Valley is a splendid spot to
spend some time at, and close by you come across the Hulls Gulch Nature Trail which is a good hiking trail.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Boise is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and since you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Quail Hollow Golf Club.
