    Go to Blue Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Going for a hike along the West Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and after a long day outdoors Ashley Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too nice to be true. Camping at Hollywood Point Campground is always a pleasant experience, and if the  
   weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Blue Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. On a wonderful day at Blue Lake you can take a hike along the Sage Hen Basin Trail, and if you came to camp Sage Hen Campground is a nice location to do that. For the duration of the summer months here at Blue Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the
 
               wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Blue Lake tend to be in the 10's. Blue Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains.
Places like Wilson Meadows are great to take a look at, and paddling on Payette River - North Fork is so much fun. Blue Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that snows the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Man, is there a lot of entertaining things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Mccall Super 8 Lodge, and at Blue Lake you can catch a sight of Granite Peak.
Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Payette River - North Fork. Lakes? Sure, Potters Pond is in the vicinity.
