Beautiful Blue Lake has much to offer visitors. So much exciting stuff to do at Blue Lake, so little time. Blue Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hollywood Point Campground is a great local campground; if you come at the right time of year, Payette River - North Fork offers some glorious whitewater. Blue Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here, and July is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds
await you at Ashley Inn, and Granite Peak is clearly visible from Blue Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Lake is right by the Sage Hen Basin Trail, and if you need a location to stay Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a good choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
All year is a glorious time in the Salmon River Mountains if you love the outdoors. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Blue Lake Trail,

and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Payette River - North Fork. The West Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you get bored of Blue Lake you could also pop by nearby Skein Lake. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too great to be true. There's so much to do here at Blue Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sage Hen Campground is a magnificent site for that, and Wilson Meadows is a good site here at Blue Lake.
