Not much rainfall falls here at Blue Lake; during December this area sees the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Blue Lake is right by the Garden Creek Trail, and a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling is Loon Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Phillips Creek Transfer Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and Kidney Lake is a brilliant lake nearby. Blue Lake is       a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Lower Jackass Flat Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and why not a little side trip to Blue Lake Creek. For the duration of the long summer days here at Blue Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Blue Lake tend to be in the-10's. Blue Lake                  is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Salmon River Mountains.
