Blue Lake

A category IV-V, 24-mile-in-distance whitewater bit can be found on nearby Loon Creek, the Loon Creek Ranger Station to confluence with M. Fork Salmon sector. Whitewater boaters on this bit of Loon Creek should have quite a little bit of skill in raft paddling. Raft paddling can get treacherous, so check conditions before heading out. Challis National Forest is a nice place to take a look at on a lovely day, and naturally Corley Creek is a picturesque stream
    that is worth stopping at.
Blue Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. Visit Blue Lake Creek while you're here at Blue Lake.
