The vista of beautiful Prater Mountain near Blue Lake is pleasant; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Priest River. Going for a hike on the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and a golf course close by is Ranch Club Golf Course & Pizza House. At Blue Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down       it falls down to the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Blue Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. If you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn Sandpoint is a perfect choice, and a good place to camp here at Blue Lake is Robin Hood RV Park. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great planet it would be. Dry warm beds await you at Schweitzer Mountain Resort,                  and great skiing awaits you at Schweitzer. This is a pleasant area for people who like lakes. Chase Lake is a lake nearby, and Blue Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Priest Lake State Park is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There are glorious places to look at along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail. Lakes are great; Lee Lake is a lake that's near Blue Lake.
