Lee Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and from Blue Lake you obtain a good view of Prater Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Blue Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Priest Lake State Park is a fine place for that, and if you're here, you could also stop at beautiful Chase Lake. Blue Lake is right by the Hanna Flast Nature Trail; Blue Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Robin                  Hood RV Park is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A common amount of rain falls here at Blue Lake; December is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. All through the warm days of summer at Blue Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
