Bloomington Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Bloomington Lake is a location that is quite arid generally; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Cloverleaf Campground is always a great experience; Limekiln Lake is a magnificent lake nearby. Bloomington Lake is located in the Wasatch Range. The warmest time of the year at Bloomington Lake arrives with high temperatures

| | in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bloomington Lake drop into the 10's. Telegraph Flat is right here at Bloomington Lake, and there are fine sites to explore along the High Line Trail. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Bloomington Lake. not ever want to return back home again. Don't leave Bloomington Lake without first going for a hike along the Midland Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Wasatch Range for a fine time. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - MONTPELIER
is a nice location to spend a night or two; there are other sites here than Bloomington Lake, for example Worm Lake.

Bloomington Lake Trail
 | ...ton Lake is up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs. There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker.
