Why not visit Bliss Dam if you're here; there's whitewater on Snake River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Malad Big Wood River in the neighborhood of Bliss Reservoir; if you need a place to stay Best Western Sawtooth Inn & Suites is a nice choice. Near Bliss Reservoir you come across Cassia Gulch which is a wonderful spot to stop by, and if you came for an       overnight stay Rock Lodge Resort and Campground is a nice place to camp. At Bliss Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; all through the month of December you get the most snow around here while August is generally the driest month. Sportsman River Resort is a wonderful campground here, and obviously, all our national parks are pleasant places to stop by and Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception. You'll wish for more hours in a day to                  enjoy all the cool stuff at Bliss Reservoir. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Bliss Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's.
