     Blacktail Lake is a nice lake to visit. One of the dominant characteristics of the surroundings of Blacktail Lake is Moose Mountain, and you can stay the night at Porcupine Lake Campground. The Cabinet Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a tremendous choice, and Moose Lake is a good lake nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. East Fork Public Campground is a glorious campground nearby,
 
   and there are glorious places to explore along the Alpine Trail. This location is peerless, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do near Blacktail Lake. Going for a hike on the North Fork Trail is always a good adventure, and Kootenai has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. During the days of summer at Blacktail Lake highs are frequently in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this  
               place gets highs in the 30's; night lows in the 20's for Blacktail Lake.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Cabinet Mountains has to offer. There are other spots here than Blacktail Lake, for example Gem Lake. It is very arid here at Blacktail Lake commonly; November is when you get the most rain here while July is ordinarily the driest month. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Cabinet Mountains is great! Paddling on Pack River is so much fun; you can go for a hike on the Shertz Trail.
