Blacks Creek Dam is a place that is close to Blacks Creek Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Northwest Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Bogus Basin is a very popular ski area close by. You'll discover a striking lake called Indian Creek Reservoir near Blacks Creek Reservoir, and camping is available at Atlasta Mobile Home and RV Park. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Blacks Creek Reservoir; Hulls Gulch Nature Trail is a good local trail, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Boise City-Nampa. Creek Reservoir get into the 90's; the overnight is rather cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Blacks Creek Reservoir are in the 20's.

Creek Reservoir gets very little rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; July is when it's the driest. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Blacks Creek Reservoir. If you need a location
to stay Bridgestreet River Quarry is a good choice, and Sandy Point Beach is rather close by if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Lucky Peak Lake near Blacks Creek Reservoir, and Mores Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby.

When Tamarack Resort opened in December 2004, it was the first all-season resort to open in the U.S. in more than two decades. I drive this stretch of creek all the time and the only time this creek is high enough to float is very early spring. I am unsure of the MoReservoir creek confluence. I am familiar with Mores creek confluance. Most of the summer you will be lucky to float a stick down this stretch.... |
