Black Lake is a nice lake to visit. Black Lake is usually a reasonably dried up site; during May this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Crestline Trail, and Black Lee Campground is a great local campground. The Box Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, needless to say you could also visit Box Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.

Through the warmest time of the year here at Black Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
