Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Black Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Twin Bridges Campground while you're here at Black Lake; don't leave Black Lake without first going for a hike along the Indian Creek Trail. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do next to Black Lake. A lake nearby is Meadow Creek Lake, and Pistol Rock is a peak you can see from Black Lake. | | River Mountains. Chilcoot Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Black Lake; Buck Creek Trail is a wonderful local trail. During the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Black Lake while nighttime lows are mostly in the 30's. is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Ashley Inn is a magnificent choice. From a precipitation point of view Black Lake is a quite normal place; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains.
