Many people like to go to Black Lake. Black Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. This is a pleasant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Chilcoot Lake is a lake around here; close by you come across the Indian Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Salmon River Mountains. Gotta ski! Brundage Mountain is a great location to do that, and at Black Lake you can spot Pistol Rock. All through

| | the summer months at Black Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 30's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 30's; night lows in the 0's for Black Lake. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you need a site to stay Ashley Inn is a splendid choice, and camping at Ice Hole Campground is always a fine experience. This lake is so wonderful. is so wonderful. There are tremendous locations to explore along the Buck Creek Trail. Lakes are good; Meadow Creek Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Black Lake; Upper Trapper Flat is a perfect place.
