This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. This lake is       so wonderful. It's a wonderful idea to stop by Vance Creek, it's in the vicinity of Black Lake, and Whitetail Club and Resort is a tremendous location to get some rest. Black Lake gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July. Allison Creek Campground is a great local campground, and hiking along the Crestline Trail is nice fun. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting                  stuff the area close to Black Lake has to offer. Why not camp at Hazard Campground since you're here at Black Lake, and Black Lake is right by the Broken Leg Trail.
