Beautiful Black Lake has much to offer visitors. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Whitewater paddling is nice on Hard Creek; Black Lake is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Allison Creek Campground is a brilliant site to camp nearby. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. A quick spree to Vance Creek in the neighborhood of Black Lake is a brilliant idea,

| | and hiking along the Crestline Trail is magnificent fun. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains rocks! Paddling on Hazard Creek is so much fun, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a good choice. A gorgeous lake like Lower Twin Lake close to Black Lake is a glorious site to explore, and do take a hike on the Broken Leg Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. why not explore Eden Lake right next door to Black Lake, and close by Warm Springs Saddle is a brilliant place to go. This lake is so wonderful. Hazard Campground is a brilliant local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike
along the Lava Butte Trail. Black Lake gets very little precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Black Lake get into the 90's.
During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Black Lake all through the winter ordinarily dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Hard Butte is clearly visible from Black Lake; a pleasant close by hotel is Whitetail Club and Resort.
