What a nice lake Black Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Clearwater River - North Fork has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by; why not check out Preceptor Point also since you're here. From a rainfall point of view Black Lake is a relatively common location; most of the snow falls during January, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Clearwater Mountains. After a long day

Do go to Slide Lake near Black Lake, it's a delightful lake, and there's great hiking along the Shin Point Trail. a good experience. The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Black Lake; Old Montana Trail is a good local trail. Black Lake beyond doubt is in the
middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is perfect on St. Joe River, and if the weather is pretty, you obtain a tremendous view of Black Mountain from Black Lake. High temperatures at Black Lake through the warm
months are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Black Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
Why not pop by close by Crimper Creek since you're here at Black Lake, and a delightful site to camp here at Black Lake is Washington Creek Campground.
