If you get bored of Black Canyon Reservoir, you could also pop by close by Jus Reservoir, and float down the rapids of Owyhee River - East Fork in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Deep Creek, and there are delightful places to explore along the Grasshopper Trail. It is very dried out here at Black Canyon Reservoir regularly; June is when you get the most rain here, and       July is the month with the least moisture. Through the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Black Canyon Reservoir, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, generally in the 50's.
