Go to Bitch Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Bitch Lake is a beautiful lake in the Clearwater Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Fox Park is right here at Bitch Lake, and going for a hike on the Nez Perce Trail is always a great adventure. What a location this is for outdoors folks.
There are some perfect whitewater spots on Moose Creek; Bitch Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Flats Campground is a wonderful local campground.

| | Bitch Creek is a good local stream, and camping at Poet Creek Campground is always a pleasant experience. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Clearwater Mountains, too pleasant to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Selway River offers some great whitewater, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail.
At Bitch Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in | |

the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Bitch Lake. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Bitch Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; July on the other hand is the driest.
