A perfect place for whitewater paddling near Bishop Lake is Henrys Fork, and there's tremendous hiking along the Blind Creek Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Anglers Lodge, and you could always discover Porcupine Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. At Bishop Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's       while the cold winter nights at Bishop Lake are in the 0's. Bishop Lake is generally a reasonably dried up place; June is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. If you came for an overnight stay Mill Creek Campground is a splendid place to camp; Island Park Village Resort is a wonderful place to get some rest. There are plenty of folks from Rexburg here at Bishop Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bishop                  Lake; Myers Creek Trail is a wonderful local trail. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Bishop Lake. Henrys Fork is a glorious whitewater spot close to Bishop Lake; camping is available at Jackson Landing Campground. This lake is so wonderful.
