Some of the water nearby flows, like Icehouse Creek, and the Blind Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Summer brings       highs in the 70's to Bishop Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Bishop Lake all through the winter generally sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Bishop Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Mill Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Myers Creek Trail. Porcupine Canyon is a good                  place to have a look at nearby, and there's perfect hiking along the Willow Creek Trail. While you're here at Bishop Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Rexburg; if you came to camp Jackson Landing Campground is a pleasant spot to do that. Bishop Lake is a location that is quite dried up mostly; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture.
