A lake nearby is Wet Weather Reservoir; you can stay the night at Jackson Landing Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Myers Creek Trail, and Porcupine Canyon is also a splendid place to look at. Bishop Lake is pretty dehydrated regularly; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Icehouse Creek flows through this neighborhood, and Bishop Lake is right by the Blind Creek

| | Trail. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Henrys Fork, and you'll most likely meet some people from Rexburg here. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Henrys Fork offers some tremendous whitewater; dry warm beds await you at Anglers Lodge. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Bishop Lake has to offer. There's so much to do here at Bishop Lake that you need to camp here for a while, | |

Mill Creek Campground is a fine spot for that, and Sagebrush Spring Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Willow Creek Trail; Island Park Village Resort is a good spot to get
some rest. Throughout the warm months highs here at Bishop Lake get into the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bishop Lake are in the 0's.

 | 13 miles away Box Canyon can be floated by most anyone in a canoe, raft, drift boat, kayak or pontoon boat 8'+. There are enough rocks and shoreline sweepers to keep you on your toes. It's mainly floated by anglers or pleasure floaters and is often done several times a day due to it's nice short length of 4 miles. It's not real wilderness but the wilds are closeby and it's got a nice feel.... |
