The peaks of the Bighorn Crags dominate the scenery of this region, and a lovely lake like Airplane Lake is a pleasant spot to pop by. Birdbill Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Birdbill Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Birdbill Lake overnight low       temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. You truly must go for the Salmon River Mountains. Here at Birdbill Lake you can make out Bighorn Crags, and paddling on Panther Creek is so much fun. Man, is there lots of cool stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Camas Creek, and the Ship Island Trail offers hiking at its best. Birdbill Lake is a location                  that is quite arid commonly; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Birdbill Lake is right by the Waterfall Trail, and Yellowjacket Campground is a wonderful campground here.
