Through the days of summer at Bills Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's; the overnight is a little cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bills Lake. So many amusing things to do at Bills Lake, so little time. Bills Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is nice here at Bills       Lake, you can go for a hike along the Old Nez Perce Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bills Lake has to offer, you can camp at Schumaker Campground. On a good day at Bills Lake you can take a hike along the South Route Old Nez Perce Trail; Bills Lake is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Bear Creek Pass Campground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby. You get a fine sight of Cuneo Point from Bills Lake, and after a long day                  outdoors Best Western Hamilton Inn is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. The annual precipitation here at Bills Lake is about average; through January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. The slopes of Lost Trail are so inviting nobody can resist.
