Camping is available at Cedar Flats Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail. You simply have to adore Bilk Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Poet Creek Campground is a great spot to camp; there are some good whitewater spots on Selway River. During the summer months highs here at Bilk Lake reach the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's.       The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Bilk Lake. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the Clearwater Mountains. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Clearwater Mountains. You'll discover a charming lake called Red Lake near Bilk Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Moose Creek. Bilk Lake is a                  good location of normal rainfall; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not pop by Running Lake in the vicinity of Bilk Lake; Bilk Lake is right by the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
