What a nice lake Big Rainbow Lake is. Why not camp at Big Roaring River Lake Campground if you're here at Big Rainbow Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There are some fine whitewater spots on Boise River - South Fork, and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Mountain Home is a great spot to spend a night or two. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Big Rainbow Lake called the Roaring River Trail, and a glorious place to camp here at

There's whitewater on Boise River - North Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; going for a hike on the Devils Creek Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
