Beautiful Big Pool has much to offer visitors. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. Big Pool gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Kellogg, and if you came to camp Devils Elbow Campground is a great spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful

| | here at Big Pool, you can go for a hike along the Coeur d'Alene River National Recreation Trail. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Big Pool. Hiking along the Rock City Pond Peak Trail is splendid fun, and you can run the rapids of Coeur d'Alene River. Through the summer at Big Pool highs are frequently in the 80's. winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Big Pool. A lake nearby is Long Pool, and if you need a site to stay Silver Mountain Ski & Summer Resort is a pleasant choice. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Bitterroot
Range. Big Pool is not the only place close by, Cabinet Gorge Reservoir is a close by lake, and going for a hike along the Spyglass Miners Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. A day on the slopes of Silver
Mountain is just what you need. There's so much to do here at Big Pool that you need to camp here for a while, Big Hank Campground is a brilliant site for that. Just can't get enough of the Bitterroot Range. Take a little journey
to Ash Creek while you're here at Big Pool, and Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork is a wonderful whitewater spot close by.
