Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Big Lake. From Big Lake you acquire a great panorama of Twin Butte. Good hiking is available along the Roberson Trail, and a pretty lake like White Lake is a nice place to check out. Around Big Lake you don’t get       a lot of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Bruneau River - East Fork is a glorious whitewater spot close to Big Lake, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Mountain Home for sure. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Big Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 90's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the                  winter are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Big Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
