Big Hazard Lake is a lake worth visiting. Around Big Hazard Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Salmon River Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Payette River - North Fork, and the Crestline Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Big Hazard

| | Lake through the days of summer are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Big Hazard Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.

time here at Big Hazard Lake. Good hiking is available along the Lava Butte Trail; unsurprisingly Big Dave Creek flows through this vicinity. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
There's splendid hiking along
the Broken Leg Trail. There's so much to do here at Big Hazard Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hazard Campground is a fine location for that. Big Hazard Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Grouse Campground
is a delightful local campground; if you need a site to stay Western Mountain Lodge is a tremendous choice. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back again and again.
