     Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Bernard Lake is one of them. Brundage Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff; hiking is a popular thing to do around Bernard Lake; Tyndall Ridge Trail is a fine local trail. Throughout the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Bernard Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Bernard  
   Lake descend into the 10's. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Bernard Lake is unbeatable! You can run the rapids of Johnson Creek near Bernard Lake, and camping at Blue Point Campground is always a good experience.
This lake is so wonderful. Bernard Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Flat Campground is a good local campground, and everyone loves Crane Meadow. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains
 
               is so good! Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Deadwood River; you can go for a hike on the Porter Creek Trail. The peak of Bernard Mountain can be seen from Bernard Lake; magnificent hiking is available along the Little Beaver Creek Trail.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Salmon River Mountains has to offer. Around Bernard Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; all through January this area sees the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Bernard Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains.
