You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Bellas Lakes has to offer. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Big Lost River - East Fork; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Copper Creek Trail. Bench Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and AmericInn Hailey is a tremendous place to get some rest. High temperatures at Bellas Lakes during the summer months are in the       80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bellas Lakes are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Wildhorse Campground while you're here at Bellas Lakes, and this region is dominated by the White Mountains. Camping at Bellas Lakes is great fun, Federal Gulch Campground is a great local campground, and the summit of Pyramid Peak can be made out from                  Bellas Lakes.
