Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kimball Trail; you can run the rapids of Payette River - North Fork. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Beech Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Beech Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. A glorious place for whitewater paddling close to Beech       Lake is Payette River, and if you came for an overnight stay Sage Hen Campground is a delightful location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Recompense Trail, and camping is available at Hollywood Point Campground. Be careful coming to Beech Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. A fine close by hotel is Ashley Inn, and a magnificent place is Currin Gulch. Beech Lake is a good spot of typical precipitation; the wettest month                  of the year is commonly January, that's the one that snows the most; July is when it's the driest.
