Get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River - North Fork; Beech Lake is a delightful place to camp, Sage Hen Campground is a delightful place. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The Recompense Trail offers hiking at its best, and Hollywood Point Campground is a wonderful campground here. Through the summertime at Beech Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's. Summer       nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Beech Lake dip into the 10's. Beech Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; all through January this area sees the most snow while July is ordinarily the driest month. There's tremendous hiking along the Kimball Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Ashley Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take                  a refreshing hike along the Shirts Creek Trail, and Currin Gulch is also a great place to explore.
