Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Madison River, and Lionshead is a great campground nearby. At Beaver Ponds you can see Mount Two Top, and do take a hike on the Little Tepee Creek Trail. High temperatures at Beaver Ponds during the long summer days are in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs through       the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Beaver Ponds dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - West Yellowstone. The amount of rain that falls at Beaver Ponds is close to the national average; the month with most of the snow is January; October on the other hand is the driest. Do check out Henrys Lake in the vicinity of Beaver Ponds, it's a beautiful lake, and if you                  need a location to stay Comfort Inn West Yellowstone is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Beaver Ponds, you could also take a look at lovely Frog Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Cabin Creek Divide Trail. Tygee Creek Basin is a gorgeous spot any time of year; you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Kirkwood Trail. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Beaver Ponds.
